Experience mindfulness and gentle movement in a calm, accessible setting.
Kirsty leads Seed Yoga, a thoughtful and inclusive practice focused on well-being, balance, and inner awareness. Sessions are adapted to suit a range of needs and abilities, making yoga enjoyable and achievable for everyone.
'Seed Yoga offers welcoming, accessible yoga classes for all ages and abilities. The Chair Yoga classes that Kirsty runs at Kehelland Trust are designed to help participants feel embodied and empowered.
Sessions include body tapping, mindfulness, breathwork, movement, massage and relaxation.
The class is split in to manageable sections and a variety of props are used to keep things interesting; these include visual aids, hand yoga cards, ribbons, breath ball, bubbles and various musical instruments. Participants are actively encouraged to share their own knowledge of yoga poses and also to get creative and make up news ones. All sessions are purposefully held in a circle shape, allowing participants to develop personal and social skills such as turn taking, speaking/ signing and listening in front of others.'
