About the event
A wassail is an essential part of our orchard calendar. It is when we give thanks for the incredible and abundant harvest we have had, protect our orchards for the coming season and wish for another good harvest of apples in the coming season. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the community that surrounds the land at Kehelland - from staff, volunteers, learners & trainees to all those who come to share in our beautiful space throughout the year. We give thanks to all of you.
Our wassail will start with a lantern-led procession from the tractor shed. The Wassail itself then led by Carn Brea Morris. Come ready to sing, dance, shout & make lots of noise. You can bring your own pans and wooden spoons!!
We will return to the tractor shed where our bar will be serving hot mulled apple juice or cider and other beverages…
