About the event
Camborne's legendary Richard Trevithick - the inventor of the steam engine - is celebrated every year on the last weekend of April which is the closest to his Birthday.
Come along to Camborne Town Centre to witness a huge collection of working traction engines, steam powered organs and the Puffin' Devil - seeing is believing with this one that looks like it has mind of it's own (but it hasn't really!).
Kehelland Trust have been in attendance at Trevithick Day for about 15 years or more - bringing our plants and produce to the market on the main street.
It is traditionally the first outing of the year for our basket & bedding plants, tomato, cucumber, aubergine, bean, pepper & chilli plants plus many more perennials, herbs and produce too. So get your gardening gloves and trowels at the ready and prepare your glasshouses and containers in readiness!
