COME AND SEE FOR YOURSELF
Grow, Learn, get involved!
Kehelland Trust is based across a beautiful 16-acre site on which we do lots of different activities. Much of our day-to-day work happens outdoors – rain or shine! If you enjoy being outside, getting your hands dirty and learning through hands on experience you’ll fit right in.
Typical horticulture activities include:
· Planting seeds
· Pricking out and potting on
· Watering and feeding plants
· Harvesting the crops, weeding and cutting back
· Planting hanging baskets
· And much more
Whether you’re brand new to growing or already have green fingers, there’s always something to do and something new to learn!
LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR SECTIONS
We have four dedicated horticulture sections, each focusing on a different area of growing care.
Across all our sections, we promote lifelong learning. Individuals are supported to:
· Develop new skills
· Build confidence
· Work at their own pace, in a supportive and inclusive environment
Whether you’re planting seeds, preparing lunch, or helping a customer, there’s always a chance to learn and grow at Kehelland!
